Southern Cobbler
Cobblers are a popular dessert option in the south. Every other mom and pop shop have tasty cobbler options and I will admit I love it. When I was 16 my mom moved deep in the country beside a peach orchard in SC. She used to walk across the street at night and pick all the peaches off the ground because they were “free”. After a night of “gathering” my mom came home insisting that we make something yummy. We grabbed a cast iron pan mixed all the ingredients we thought would work (very common practice for our household lol) and VOILA.

• 1 1/4 cup granulated sugar
